Champagne Supernova!!!

2:00 AM:

One of those nights…she is wide awake…pages were turned, bridges were burned and lessons still not learned

She had said yes and he had said so?

She had shuddered, she had shrivelled, she had panicked…She had nodded her head in unison with us when we told her: 'He is not your guy' She realized she had been standing there all alone… Under a champagne supernova she had created all by herself…Created by using his unguarded gestures and words that had come her way

Little did she know, he had been guarding it all, guarding it all with a shield made of ether, a shield that made a noise when tapped into, a shield that grew stronger by the day and weaker by the night. Maybe, she wondered, that could have been the reason why he always came during the dusks of summer nights and went away before the dawns of summer days. She had hoped she could trick him into watching the sunrise with her if she held his hands tightly. Seeing her try so hard, he had repeated for the 4th time: Am kinda done with the sunrises. I have been wanting to swim under the moonlight when the tides are high and the coast is clear for the longest time. Isnt that more fun?  She had said yes to that question yet again for the 4th time

She sighed as she lied there wide awake..She had yet again proven to herself that she was wrong about what she thought she had wanted…She had yet again walked through untrodden paths to see if she really needed what she thought she needed…

She had thought, she wanted to learn guitar but ended up falling in love with the violin…She had thought, she liked to chill out in the beaches but the mountains gave meaning to her very existence…She had thought she couldn’t live without the chicken curry, but now she laments on how many bad karma points she must have accrued for killing all those innocent beings. As she lied there, bidding farewell to his memory for the umpteenth time and knowing very well she will have to go through this exercise for many more nights to come…She says a prayer for him and sends her blessings his way for making her realize that she definitely needs the sunrise and that the concept of 'swimming under the moonlight when the tides are high and the coast is clear' is very overrated…
